October 17, 1927 was a rainy, cold day in Pelham. Despite the weather, more than one hundred members and guests of the Bronx Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution gathered in front of Pelhamdale, the lovely historic home located at 45 Iden Avenue in the Village of Pelham Manor.
