Named after successful entrepreneur Richard Naclerio of Pelham Manor, NY and his wife Barbara, the Classical Scholars Program at The Montfort Academy was created to support and facilitate the work of emerging academic leaders from among The Montfort Academy's high school faculty who have distinguished themselves in their abilities to teach their subject matter within the interdisciplinary context required of classical Catholic education, their abilities to enliven their classrooms through the use of the Socratic method, and their leadership and dedication to faculty moderation of extracurricular activities.
